PLEASE KINDLY NOTE: We have two different modes of horizontal decanter centrifuge, one is Two-phase solid-liquid separation, the other is Three-phase solid-liquid-liquid separation, which can be selected according to your material characteristics and separation requirements.
 

Horizontal screw decanter centrifuge is a kind of horizontal screw unloading, continuous operation settlement equipment. The working principle of this type of centrifuge is: the drum and the screw rotate at a certain differential speed in the same direction and at a high speed, the raw material is continuously introduced into the inner drum of the conveying screw by the feeding pipe, and enters the drum after acceleration. Under the action of the centrifugal force field, the heavier solid phase deposits on the drum wall to form the sediment layer. The conveying screw continuously pushes the deposited solids to the cone end of the drum, and then discharges them out of the machine through the slag discharge port. The lighter liquid phase forms an inner liquid ring, which overflows the drum continuously from the overflow port at the big end of the drum, and is discharged out of the machine through the discharge port. The machine can continuously feed, separate, wash and discharge materials at full speed. It is characterized by compact structure, continuous operation, stable operation, strong adaptability, large production capacity and convenient maintenance. It is suitable for the separation of suspension with solid particle size greater than 0.005mm and concentration range of 2-40%.

Two-Phase Working Principle

 

 

 

The purpose of separation is to separate out substances with different mass ratios from mixed fluid.Separation forms included solid-liquid separation,liquid-liquid separation and liquid-liquid-solid separation. When mixed fluid enters rotating bowl of centrifuge through feed tube ,solids with larger density would rapidly deposit on inner wall of the bowl,forced by centrifugal acceleration.Then spiral pusher pushed deposited solids to taper end of the bowl,and discharges them out of centrifuge from residual outlet. Meanwhile, liquid phase with smaller density forms a liquid ring layer and discharges from bowl through overflow port, the bowl and spiral pusher run at a high speed simultaneously, for there exists speed discrepancy, deposited solids on the wall of bowl could be conveyed to residue outlet by spiral pusher.This separation process carry out continuously.

Drum

The drum is cast by Duplex 304 stainless steel in centrifugal casting, the forging process is adopted , which can enhance its corrosion resistance, The replaceable alloy sleeve is installed in the solid state outlet, so that the mother material of the drum's outlet is not worn, and the wear-resistant bar is installed in the drum to make the drum inside not worn.

Differential

The differential drives the screw discharger and makes it rotate at a constant speed of the external drum. The speed difference between the external drum and the screw discharger is determined by the reduction ratio of the differentialand the speed of the external drum.

PLC Control Panel

The electrical control adopts the double conversion auto control system, which can display the parameters such as frequency, rotation speed, differential speed and current of operating major and auxiliary electrical engine.
