Overview of Tailings Slurry Treatment
Tailings is a waste material after processing, is the main component of industrial solid waste.Therefore, the comprehensive recovery and utilization of tailings has been widely concerned by the whole society, and the pollution of the underground water layer by tailings slurry is also of great concern. Horizontal spiral centrifuge Shenzhou company specially developed came into being, to solve the tailings slurry treatment and some of the problems in the market practice, and achieved good results.

 

Product Introduce

LW series decanter centrifuges usually used dewatering and thickening purpose. It  is designed for easy separation material include large particle size, high density difference of solid and liquid, low viscosity, high concentration, high treatment capacity and higher dryness than clarity.
This Centrifuges feature continuous feeding and discharge, This chemical separation equipment has been applied two-phase (solid - liquid) and three-phase (solid - liquid - liquid) slurries separation industry of chemicals, pharmaceutical, environment protection, as well as mining and food, etc.

 

Working Principle 

Decanter centrifuge used for solid-liquid separation of heterogeneous phase, which can separate liquidsolid and liquid-liquid-solid suspensions. When the material enters the high-speed rotating drum, due to different sizes of centrifugal force, the solid particles in the suspension are affected by large centrifugal force and settle to the inner wall of the drum.The clear (liquid) phase in the suspension is affected by relatively small centrifugal force and settles to the inner side of the solid material. The screw conveyor with the same rotation direction as the drum is also rotating at high speed.A stable speed difference is generated by the differential. The solid particles settled on the inner wall of the drum are transported to the solid outlet of the drum by the screw conveyor, and the phase cleaning liquid flows out of the phase cleaning outlet of the drum.
