LW150 Mini Laboratory Decanter Centrifuge is designed for two phase separation in the laboratory. It is mainly used for small batch continuous processing operations from 5L/H to 500L/H.

Working Principle

Working Principle :

Horizontal screw centrifuge is an equipment that uses the principle of centrifugal sedimentation to separate suspension. Its working principle is that when the suspension to be separated enters the drum of the centrifuge, the solid particles with higher density than the liquid phase will quickly settle to the inner wall of the drum under the centrifugal force of the drum. The screw conveyor inside the centrifuge pushes the solid phase deposited on the inner wall of the drum to the drying area at the small end of the drum for further dehydration, and then discharged through the slag outlet, and the separated clear liquid will flow out of the overflow weir at the large end of the drum.

Drum

The drum is cast by Duplex 304 stainless steel in centrifugal casting, the forging process is adopted , which can enhance its corrosion resistance, The replaceable alloy sleeve is installed in the solid state outlet, so that the mother material of the drum's outlet is not worn, and the wear-resistant bar is installed in the drum to make the drum inside not worn.

Differential

The differential drives the screw discharger and makes it rotate at a constant speed of the external drum. The speed difference between the external drum and the screw discharger is determined by the reduction ratio of the differentialand the speed of the external drum.

The electrical control adopts the double conversion auto control system, which can display the parameters such as frequency, rotation speed, differential speed and current of operating major and auxiliary electrical engine.
