Product Description

The Shenzhou 22 inch (550mm) bowl diameter decanter centrifuge is a high capacity centrifuge. Shenzhou 22inch centrifuge is optional in bowl length and diameter ration of 3.3:1 or 4.2:1. This Fully Variable Speed VFD controlled unit is built using the most reliable and robust electrical components, with either ABB or SIEMENS brand variable frequency drive units. Electronic load sensing and feed pump control permit automatic optimization of the feed rate, bowl speed, and differential conveyor speed. Direct readouts of the bowl RPM, motor loads and bearing temperatures relayed (Optional) directly to the control panel allow the operator full and continuous equipment optimization.

The feed product is pumped into the decanter centrifuges through the inlet. Feed goes into a horizontal bowl, which rotates. The bowl has is composed of a cylindrical part and a conical part. The separation takes place in the cylindrical part of the bowl. The fast rotation generates centrifugal forces up to 4000 x g. Under these forces, the solid particles with higher density are collected and compacted on the wall of the bowl. A scroll (also screw or screw conveyor) rotates inside the bowl at a slightly different speed. This speed difference is called the differential speed. This way the scroll is transporting the settled particles along the cylindrical part of the bowl and up to the end conical part of the bowl. At the smallest end of the conical part of the bowl, the dewatered solids leave the bowl via discharge opening. The clarified liquid leaves through a paring disc (internal centripetal pump).

Drum

The drum is cast by Duplex 304 stainless steel in centrifugal casting, the forging process is adopted , which can enhance its corrosion resistance, The replaceable alloy sleeve is installed in the solid state outlet, so that the mother material of the drum's outlet is not worn, and the wear-resistant bar is installed in the drum to make the drum inside not worn.

Differential

The differential drives the screw discharger and makes it rotate at a constant speed of the external drum. The speed difference between the external drum and the screw discharger is determined by the reduction ratio of the differentialand the speed of the external drum.

The electrical control adopts the double conversion auto control system, which can display the parameters such as frequency, rotation speed, differential speed and current of operating major and auxiliary electrical engine.
