What's the LW Decanter Centrifuge
 
LW Sedimentation Centrifuge is a horizontal, continuously working and continuously spiral discharging sedimentation centrifuge. It is used in a variety or industries for separating all kinds of solid liquid suspension, defecating liquid phase with graded grains, and dehydrating sludge. 2 phase Decanter Centrifuge:  After entering into the high-speed turning drum, the solid-phase particles in the mixed liquid run and settle on the drum wallunder the action of greatest centrifugal force; the light liquid settles at the innermost place of the drum under minimum centrifugal force; same as the drum's turning direction, a screw feeder also turns at a high speed, and a constant speed difference is generated by the differential mechanism, then the liquid will be discharged by the liquid outlet. 3 phase Decanter Centrifuge:  Principle of threephase decanter centrifuges is as shown in the above figure. The substance to be separated is fed by the feeding tube into the accelerating cavity of the spiral conveyor, then enters high speed running drum wall. As the light liquid, heavy liquid and insoluble solid contained in the substance have different specific gravities, the three materials are subject to varied centrifugal forces: the insoluble solid settles into the inner wall (outside) due to its highest specific gravity and subject to maximum centrifugal force; the light liquid settles maximum far away from the inner wall (outside) due to its lowest specific gravity and subject to minimum centrifugal force; and heavy liquid settles in the middle place. The insoluble solid is discharged from the solid discharge port by a spiral feeder which has relative differential speed with the drum; and the light and heavy liquids are then separated by different structures inside the machine wherein the heavy liquid is discharged by the centripetal pump, and the light liquid is discharged via the force of gravity, thus the purpose of three phase separation is achieved.

Liquid-Solid 2-Phase Decanter Centrifuge
-The feed enters the bowl through a stationary inlet tube and is accelerated smoothly by an inlet distributor. The centrifugal force that results from the rotation then causes sedmentationof the solids on the wall of the bowl.

--Separation takes place in a horizontal cylindrical bowl equipped with a screw conveyor.

Liquid-Liquid-Solid 3-phases Decanter Centrifuge
--The conveyor rotates in the same(adverse) direction as the bowl, but slightly slower(faster), thus moving the solids towards the concial end of the bowl. The cake leaves the bowl through the solids discharge openings into casting.

--The separation process runs through the bowl entire cylindrical section, clarified liquid is separated by adjustable overflow plate.
