Working Principle 
 

Decanter centrifuge used for solid-liquid separation of heterogeneous phase, which can separate liquidsolid and liquid-liquid-solid suspensions. When the material enters the high-speed rotating drum, due to different sizes of centrifugalforce, the solid particles in the suspension are affected by large centrifugal force and settle to the inner wall of the drum.The clear (liquid) phase in the suspension is affected by relatively small centrifugal force and settles to the inner side of the solid material. The screw conveyor with the same rotation direction as the drum is also rotating at high speed.A stable speed difference is generated by the differential. The solid particles settled on the inner wall of the drum are transported to the

solid outlet of the drum by the screw conveyor, and the phase cleaning liquid flows out of the phase cleaning outlet of the drum.

Operation Steps
The working principle of horizontal screw centrifuge is very simple. It has been known by the public for a century. The drum and screw are supported by separate suspension.The material enters through the inlet pipe and accelerates into the core drum body through the drum.

Separation Process
The core consists of a cylindrical and conical rotating drum, and the centrifuge forces the solid material to deposit on the drum wall.

Solid Discharge
The helix has the same shape and Angle as the drum, rotating at a slightly faster speed than the drum, so that the separated solids are pushed towards the end of the narrow cone and expelled from the drum.The degree of dehydration of solids depends on many factors, in addition to the reason of the material itself, but also depends on the length of the separation of solids in the centrifuge, as well as the Angle of the tight rotation of solids, in addition to the screw and drum speed difference is also an important factor.

Drainage
A chuck is installed at the bottom of the drum to adjust the depth of liquid level. The clarified liquid flows to the bottom along the spiral cylinder, and then is collected in the drain bucket to discharge the machine. The depth of the clarified liquid in the drum can be adjusted by changing different baffles.

Drum

The drum is cast by Duplex 304 stainless steel in centrifugal casting, the forging process is adopted , which can enhance its corrosion resistance, The replaceable alloy sleeve is installed in the solid state outlet, so that the mother material of the drum's outlet is not worn, and the wear-resistant bar is installed in the drum to make the drum inside not worn.

Differential
