LW Horizontal Decanter Centrifuges feature continuous feeding and discharge. This chemical separation equipment has been applied two-phase (solid - liquid) and three-phase (solid - liquid - liquid) slurries separation industry of chemicals, environment protection, as well as mining and food, etc.

Two-Phase Working Principle

LW355 centrifuge is that T he drum and the screw rotate at a certain differential speed in the same direction and at a high speed, the raw material is continuously introduced into the inner drum of the conveying screw by the feeding pipe, and enters the drum after acceleration. Under the action of the centrifugal force field, the heavier solid phase deposits on the drum wall to form the sediment layer. The conveying screw continuously pushes the deposited solids to the cone end of the drum, and then discharges them out of the machine through the solid discharge port. The lighter liquid phase forms an inner liquid ring, which overflows the drum continuously from the overflow port at the big end of the drum, and is discharged out of the machine through the discharge port.

 

Three-Phases Working Principle

LWS355 three-phase centrifuge is that two liquid phases and one solid phase enter the centrifuge and expand it thousands of times by relying on the centrifugal force field. The solid phase is settled under the action of centrifugal force, and the two liquid phases are also stratified, so as to realize Solid-liquid-liquid 3-phase separation and discharge them from the body under the action of special mechanism. The whole feeding and separation process is continuous, closed and automatic.
